Alloy 410 (UNS S41000) is a martensitic stainless steel containing 12% chromium that can have a wide range of mechanical properties after heat treatment. The alloy has good corrosion resistance, high strength and high hardness. After annealing at 410, it is easy to expand and form. After annealing or heat treatment, it remains magnetic.
